Hello again Friends…
I wanted to address a couple things. First off, Chapters 1-3 of Dream Lover are now available at http://hermesdreamlover.wordpress.com.
Second, I have received correspondence from a reader who expressed concern that I may have too many stories in progress. Please allow me to say that writing is an enjoyment for me. I get pleasure from sharing my musings. However, it’s not a science. As you all know from my previous posts, I have been dealing with health issues. Unfortunately, at times, these issues preclude my being able to concentrate sufficiently to write. However, these situations are rarely permanent.
Currently, On WordPress, I have 2 stories of my own that are ‘in progress’. Dream Lover and A Squire’s Tale. In addition, there is a story that was written by another author that I have been given permission to write follow-ups to called David’s Northern Adventures. Dream Lover came about only this week after a very long period where my health didn’t allow me to write. It actually came to me in a dream and I felt compelled to get it written.
A Squire’s Tale is at a point where any other writer may feel has come to a conclusion, however I still have more to tell in that story. I have been working on the next chapter, but I have not been happy with the results. I would rather delay posting a chapter than publish what I feel is far below what you, the readers deserve. Be assured you will see additional chapters in that story fairly soon.
The correspondence also made reference to one of my completed stories, “Speedo Boys”. When I finished that story, I stated that I “MAY” at some point revisit the story and create a “Book II”. I have been outlining possible plot lines for this, however, I will not guarantee that I will be posting any of that sequel at any point within the next 30 days. But, again, you never know. A writer writes what he feels at the time. Trying to force writing in a particular story usually winds up putting out a quality of work I would not feel comfortable with.
Thank you all for your support in the past, and I hope I can continue to earn it in the future. For now, please enjoy Dream Lover.
